I’m So Glad To Be A Whosoever
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Today I want to lift up a very familiar passage of scripture, found the Gospel according to John, the third chapter and the 16th verse, and the Word of God reads this way. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. This indeed is good news, isn’t a good news to know that before you were ever thought of and before I was ever thought of God thought of us, he thought of us enough to send his only son to save you and to save me from the penalty of our sins. For the Bible teaches us that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. And here encapsuled in this awesome passage of scripture is a demonstration of God’s great love for all of us.
Hear him when he says, for God so loved the world. That means he loves all of us, and his desire is that not one of us should fall from grace should fall out of the provision of his will and his favor. He says, for God so loved the world that he gave his only son, he demonstrates his love by giving the most precious gift ever given the son of God, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish. Now, I need to say this to you. I’m so glad to be a whosoever. I don’t know what to do. Who so ever believes that means I qualify, and guess what? That means? You qualify to whosoever believes on the name of Jesus shall be saved. Now that’s good news. My prayer for you is that you will avail yourself of this good news and let God work in your life just as he’s working in my life. I hope to see you soon. That we can talk more about this. Good News.
