The Holy Spirit comes in to empower us the moment we say yes to Jesus Christ and become saved. Now the work is to be obedient to the move of the Holy Spirit. When we’re not obedient to him and we grieve him then we don’t grow and anything that doesn’t grow becomes stagnated and has the chance to die if nothing is happening with it to bring it to life.
